Job Description:
- Generate sales prospects and high-quality leads through a structured coverage of the assigned territory.
- Illustrate the consultative sales approach & proactive attitude throughout the sales process to fulfil customer’s requirements.
- Develop own sales mechanisms to sell assigned products by utilizing available product information, specifications, user requirement, field condition, etc.
- Visit customer offices / sites as per agreed schedules and consistently report the outcome reports to line manager.
- Collate the necessary technical data and work with client’s technical team to assess equipment needs and determine the system requirements.
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain division’s product portfolio, technical product arguments and services to customers.
- Collect, organize and share with line manager information on projects, bids, orders, potential customers, competitors and other market intelligence inputs.
- Submit techno-commercial quotations and manage the negotiations phase till the successful receipt of customer’s purchase order with adherence to apply company’s SOPs thoroughly.
- Coordinate with other team members and provide support towards timely delivery.
- Ensure that terms and conditions are agreed, delivery, invoicing & payment details are comprehensively & precisely available and required documentation is well prepared.
- Keep customer’s order information up to date in CRM or other sales related ERP system.
- Monitor closely the delivery, commissioning, and operational startup of supplied unit(s) with ensuring client’s maximum satisfaction on the job quality.
- Strive to exceed customer satisfaction through prompt response, good communication and building good relationships with customer’s stakeholders.
- Provide accurate sales forecast data to line manager.
- Timely reporting of daily, weekly & monthly as per frequency and agreed format by line manager.
- Meet assigned sales targets and KPIs and strive to exceed.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues in other territories and other departments to empower synergies among company’s teams.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree of Engineering (e.g. mechanical power, electrical or any relevant engineering field)
- 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in material handling equipment & storage systems
