Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and delivering complex projects from initiation to completion within budget, scope, and schedule. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring project objectives align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and monitor project risks throughout the lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and implement best practices in project management methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience: 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or Trello).
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
