ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The overall expectation is to manage full accounting activities of the company, and provide support to the Accounting Team, through booking keeping, month closing, Internal / External Audit and supporting operational team on routine accounting tasks. Individual also need to be ensure that a company complies with all group financial policies and government rules and regulations. Assisting the existing team in various other accounting matters i.e. weekly/monthly forecasting, and periodic analyses of operations KPI, as required.

GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION

  • Day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Perform month end close for responsible entity ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness and compliance with corporate policy.
  • Reviewing & registering new business Vendors / customers. 
  • Reviewing and reimbursing operational field staff expenses.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments to all vendors.
  • Monitoring Intercompany balances and resolve disputes on monthly basis.
  • Settling Intercompany payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation on monthly basis.
  • Makes the necessary accruals for prepayments respecting accounting policies.
  • Managing others balance sheets accounts on monthly basis.
  • Manage external audit field work.  
  • Develops knowledge of Saudi Tax laws, monthly filing of With-holding tax, VAT E filling.
  • Ensure to Comply with Company core mandatory controls are in place for all accounting / operational activities.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or equivalent highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of [5] years of experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in in accounting software, financial management tools and Microsoft

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft is a plus but is not mandatory
