Procurement Executive - Dubai Procurement Executive - Dubai Logistics & Supply Chain

 

 

 

 

Job responsibilities:

 

  • Orders - Assist in sourcing and procuring tires from suppliers based on company requirements and specifications.  Ensure its correctness as per agreed terms and conditions and sign the contracts, Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, Warranty Claims
  • Loading Plan - Follow up for shipment plan and share details with sales team for confirmation and confirm to factory, make sure loading plan should be in line with the orders on time.
  • Freight – Negotiate with forwarders and arrange shipment at best possible freight and ensure documents are received on time. Check the accuracy of shipping documents.
  • System entries – Register Purchase order, Sales contract, Shipment advise for all shipments.
  • Coordinate with Finance team and arrange timely payment to all vendors and reconcile payment records on timely basis.
  • Involve in process re-engineering and automation activities resulting in cost-reduction and work efficiency.
  • Maintain and monitor operations KPI on daily basis.
  • Mentor the team for smooth work flow to provide quality service to other departments.
  • To ensure on time shipment against the Purchase orders. Ensure clearance of necessary shipping documents on time and system update for the information of Import transit cargo to enable sales personnel to get shipment details on time for Direct / cross trading / Import activities.     
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to deliveries, quality, or discrepancies in orders, should have experience in warranty claim and their settlement.    
  • Support the procurement manager in various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
  • Should be aware and keep updated for tire industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements affecting tire procurement.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years tire experience is must, previous experience in tires with Chinese brand will be added advantage 
  • Good command in English
  • Familiarity with procurement   ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Should be proficient in MS office tools.
