HR Generalist - South Africa HR Generalist - South Africa Administration & HR

 

 

 

 

We are hiring HR Generalist for our client, with at least 3-5 years of HR experience and professional qualification in Human Resource Management or related field . Must have experience in Payroll Capturing and Administration (preferred on Sage VIP)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Scheduling of job interviews, contacting and screening candidates
  • Tracking recruitment statuses and declining of unsuccessful candidates
  • Placing adverts on hiring job boards and platforms
  • Assist with or conduct employee interviews
  • Preparing, communication and review of Offer Letters and Employment Contracts with new employees
  • Ensure onboarding and induction for new employees are conducted accordingly

Compensation and Benefits

  • Processing and administration of the complete payroll and employee self service application
  • Ensuring that the annual and mid-year tax submission are completed timeously
  • Ensuring that the monthly SARS EMP201 declarations are submitted timeously on E-filing
  • Application of SARS Tax Directives for required employees as and when required
  • Processing of monthly timesheets for employees using SAP CATS Reporting Tool
  • Preparation and submission of documents for Company Audits
  • Preparation of statutory documents for employees (UIF Documents, Service Letters)
  • Conducting exit interviews and completing termination documents
  • Organising and maintaining personnel records and HR database
  • Maintaining regular tracking systems for the department’s workflow and activities
  • Management of employees’ queries regarding payroll and or HR matters within 24 hours
  • Keeping track of employees leave as per company leave policy
  • Management of Third-Party Reconciliations

Employee Relations

  • Drafting of Disciplinary documents and compilation of packs
  • CCMA appearances as and when required
  • Coordination, execution and assisting with development of Employee wellness initiatives
  • Coordination and execution of employee recognition programmes and/or company events
  • Preparation and communication of the Company Newsletter

 

HR Admin and Statutory Reporting

  • Preparation of data for all company statutory submissions (COIDA Submissions, WSP Reporting, Employment Equity Reporting)
  • Regularly updating training tracker and filing training documents
  • Coordination and collation of BBBEE data collection and audit preparations
  • Preparation and submission of Purchase Orders and payment packs for HR suppliers
  • Assist HR Manager with department’s administrative tasks
  • Any ad hoc task as required by Management
  • Implement and adhere to the  South African Group management system requirements
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental

Policies and Procedures.
