Assistant Manager ASTA Certification Sales - Dubai Assistant Manager ASTA Certification Sales - Dubai Sales & Marketing

 

 

 

 

 

Position Purpose:

  • Position will be responsible for developing the business for the responsible territory. Incumbent will be responsible for driving the business from the existing customer, identifying the new business opportunities, achieve expected revenue and profit growth in the territory. Person will focus strategic direction in identifying the new stream in the business line in the territory and strengthen the customer relationship management.
  • Main focus will be to develop and increase the growth of ASTA Type Test service line across Middle East with particular focus on UAE, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. This encompasses type test certification, ASTA mark, and site services and other potential testing/inspection/certification opportunities.

Essential Functions/ Job Responsibilities:

  • Tap market potential and stay abreast of all opportunities
  • Help business stay abreast of market trends and developments
  • Identifying potential customers/ clients for the services of the division in co-ordination with his team.
  • Regular interaction/ visit with existing customers, Utilities, authorities and consultants
  • Generating new opportunities
  • Increasing market reach by focusing on untapped market and retain existing customers
  • Maintain sales related data in CRM tool
  • Response to customers
  • And all other sales related activities
  •  

Education & Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience; preferably from the relevant experience in the areas of LV & MV Equipment testing, inspection & certification services selling.
  • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (preferred) and a Management Degree in Business Administration.
  • Has the ability to identify business opportunities and execute plans to realize the associated revenues.
  • Must be self-motivated, assertive, and have the ability to work independently to achieve personal and team revenue/sales goals:
  • Strong organization, customer relations, teamwork, and time management skills
  • Good computer skills,
  • Ability to travel within the region and throughout the ME when required.
