Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

•            Collaborate with sales, design, and project teams to provide technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.

•            Conduct detailed sizing and selection of diesel generator sets based on load profiles and application needs.

•            Develop optimized room layouts, including ventilation, exhaust systems, and fuel supply designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

•            Perform noise level calculations and propose solutions to meet acoustic requirements.

•            Design and validate special containers and enclosures for diesel generator sets, ensuring durability, safety, and functionality.

•            Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.

•            Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and customers.

•            Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and innovations to continuously improve product offerings and solutions.

Qualifications:

•            Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

•           3-5 years of proven experience in the diesel generator field, specifically in application and design engineering.

•            Strong knowledge of generator sizing, selection criteria, and power system applications.

•            Expertise in room layout design, ventilation requirements, and acoustic management.

•            Proficiency in CAD software for layout and design work.

•            Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•            Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.

•            Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.       

Preferred Skills:

•            Experience with diesel generator products.

•            Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and regulatory requirements.

•            Hands-on experience with special container design for harsh environments
