Logistics Coordinator - Abu Dhabi Logistics Coordinator - Abu Dhabi Logistics & Supply Chain

 

 

 

One of our client a leading manufacturing industry in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Logistic coordinator. 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Opening new jobs for customers and assisting in customs clearance and processing Customs Bill.

  • Able to handle shipping lines, airlines and other freight management companies.

  • Maintain acknowledge register for invoices delivered to customers.

  • Responsible for generating leads by business development for the services provided by the company.

  • Arranging transportation and follow-up.

  • Updating with job with cost / provisions accordingly.

  • Generating invoices to customers after completion of job.

  • Generate payment requests for suppliers / vendors invoices.

  • Adherence to company policies and code of conduct.

Skills and qualifications required

  • Should have knowledge of the UAE customs and procedures.

  • Able to handle shipping lines/ airlines/ fright management companies.

  • Prior sales or business development experience in a logistics or freight forwarding company, would be preferred.

  • Must have good communication skills in English.

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a freight forwarding company based in the UAE – (Abu Dhabi),
