The role of Mobility Field Manager is to develop, manage, support and deliver rail projects being undertaken by the company within UAE.
The Mobility Field Manager shall act as the client relationship manager within the country and shall be responsible for business development and delivery of rail projects
The Mobility Field Manager shall act as project manager / project director in charge of multiple teams delivery rail projects related to rail systems assurance, independent safety assessment, safety management, operational implementation and so on.
The role therefore requires knowledge and experience of engineering and operational aspects of railways coupled with commercial skills.
The Mobility Field Manager will be responsible for (not limited to):
1) Owning the region business plan and delivering to its objectives
2) Identifying client and projects
3) Developing proposals against identified opportunities
4) Building a local delivery team to enhance IMEA regional resources
5) Acting as Project Director on projects
6) Acting as Project Manager on projects
7) Delivering projects to time, cost and budget
8) Reviewing and approving project works
9) Providing expert input to project activities
10) Managing project invoicing
Internally this role will interface directly with the Mobility Regional Director (technical and business development) and the Country Managing Director (Business development and direct marketing). Additional Technical Team Leaders, Corporate Managers and other members of the SA / RAMS engineers and operators teams.
Externally this role will interface with current and potential clients (in the form of Rail Operators, Contractors, rail system providers, project development agencies) and rail regulators (who may also be clients).
The role requires a broad range of experience across railway operations and projects.
A minimum 10 years rail experience is required.
A minimum 3 years SA/RAMS experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years project / commercial management experience.
Allowance will be made for equivalent experience
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge across all rail engineering aspects and operations with specialist in at least one key area such as:
? Train Control / Signalling.
? Rolling Stock.
? Station equipment.
? Track infrastructure.
Candidates must have project and commercial management experience
Candidates must have team management experience
A strong level of academic and professional qualification is preferred:
? Appropriate engineering / systems degree (2:2 minimum).
? Post Grad training / Certification in SA / Risk Management (Preferred).
? Post Grad training / Certification in Project Management (Preferred).
? Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
