OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

Ensure effective support to the management of the Company in regards to the development of the Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental Company policy in compliance with the company’s Quality System, the Safety for Contractors system, the (inter)national rules and law as well as continuous business process improvement aimed towards the optimum performance of the Company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Assist General Management in the definition of the objectives of quality and operating efficiency of the Company; in this regard defines, develops, implements, guards and promotes proper policies, taking care of the relevant certifications (the systems need to be in compliance with the ISO 9001 standards);

2.

Provides support in the definition of the Safety, Health and Environmental policies, coordinating all activities of analysis, audit and  consultancy; all  above in accordance with the Company Quality System and the (inter)national rules and law.

3.

Guarantee the continuous improvement of the operating processes, promoting and coordinating inter-functional projects and initiatives focused to increase the Company’s and products’ competitiveness in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and quality

4.

Coordinate on the specific objectives with the Parent Company

5.

Set up and maintain compliance of the Management System and ensure proper awareness within the internal organization

6.

Promote, initiate and support the implementation of (process-) improvement projects

7.

Be aware, follow up on developments in relation to Safety and ensure that the organization is constantly in line with legal regulations as mentioned in guidelines and permits, as well in regards to health and environment

8.

Promote information & training initiatives, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department to increase a proper Safety, Health and Environmental awareness and culture within the Company

 

SPECIFIC TASKS:

1.

   Ensure the Company Quality Management System remains up to date                                                                

2.

Drive Continuous Improvement through the Quality Management System by executing internal audits at Department level, with particular focus to the quality control of the Repair Shop

3.

   Perform labor health audits, risk inventory and evaluations and certification audits                                       

4.

Verify and release new processes/procedures

5.

   Execute external (supplier/vendors)  audits/qualifications                                                                                         

6.

Assist the departments in the assessment of quality & safety issues, coordinating the root cause analysis and the identification and implementation of containment and corrective actions

7.

   Keep in contact with external Health Organization                                                                                                        

8.

Assist the departments in the preparation of the documentation for the safety in the working site, supporting the personnel delegated on site as responsible of Safety

9.

Periodically control and monitor the prompt application of the safety procedures in the Repair Shop and at the working sites.

10.

Ensure proper KPIs are developed, reported regularly and utilized to drive improvement in our business systems.

11.

Provide support to Sales to  ensure the company is able to  meet quality  standards of proposal specifications

12.

   Ensure the Company Quality Management System remains up to date                                                                

COMPETENCIES:

 

Education

Bachelor degree, preferable in Technical Business Science

Knowledge of SSC** and (inter-)national quality standards and quality systems

 

Additional

Training/ Knowledge

 

Lead auditor training ISO 9001-2008

Change process management LEAN and or Six Sigma is a plus.

 

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience with the required level and similar position Excellent proficiency in English, verbal and writing

Experience with conducting audits within a technical environment
